Nashik: Armed Robbers Storm Jewellery Store, Brave Employees Fight Them Off

A shocking robbery attempt at a jewellery store in Maharashtra’s Nashik district has grabbed widespread attention online after CCTV footage captured two employees courageously confronting armed robbers and forcing them to flee empty-handed.

The incident took place on Friday night at New Samruddhi Jewellers in the Hirawadi area of Nashik. According to reports, four masked men entered the shop around 9 pm carrying firearms and attempted to loot the establishment. The accused had concealed their identities using caps, masks, and helmets before storming into the store, where three staff members were present at the time.

Visuals from the CCTV footage show one of the robbers pointing a pistol at the employees in an attempt to intimidate them. While one staff member moved aside for safety, the remaining two employees confronted the intruders and engaged in a fierce struggle despite the threat posed by the weapons.

The dramatic altercation continued for several moments as the employees resisted the robbery attempt. Their swift response eventually forced the robbers to abandon their plan and escape from the shop without stealing any valuables.

During the scuffle, one of the employees sustained serious injuries after being repeatedly attacked with the butt of a pistol. He was later admitted to the District Government Hospital for medical treatment.  Following the incident, police teams reached the spot, examined the CCTV footage, and launched a search operation to identify and arrest the accused. An investigation into the attempted robbery is currently in progress.
