Nashik Water Cut: Supply to Remain Shut for Two Days Across City; Check Dates and Affected Areas

Water supply in Nashik will be cut for two consecutive days as the Nashik Municipal Corporation (NMC) has announced that water supply will remain suspended on Saturday (April 4) and Sunday (April 5) due to ongoing infrastructure work by the Public Health Engineering Department. The work includes improvements to the water supply system and preparations for the Simhastha Kumbh Mela under the Smart City project.

As part of the project, a 500 mm pipeline will be connected to a 700 mm main line, requiring a complete shutdown of water supply during the weekend. 

Affected Areas

The supply disruption will affect all wards and divisions of the city, including Nashik East, Nashik West, Panchavati, Satpur, Nashik Road and New Nashik on April 4 and 5. The affected areas include Ward No. 30 (Kalanagar), Gandhinagar, Jail Road, Deolali Camp, Nashik–Pune Road, Trimbak Road, ABB Circle, College Road, Gangapur Road and P&T Colony.

The Municipal Corporation has urged residents to store sufficient water in advance and use it judiciously during the water cut period. The water supply on the morning of April 6 is expected to be at low pressure.
