One of the best news is coming from Surat District Hospital. Here a woman who was covid positove gave birth to a newborn baby. The baby, who was in critical condition from birth, had been battling death for 19 days and has now recovered from the illness. The general hospital doctors put a lot of effort into saving the newborn baby who lost the mother at birth. The baby has now fully recovered.

Relatives are considering naming the 19-day-old baby 'Abhay' who fought Corona. According to the general hospital, Ruchi Panchal, a resident of Mangrol area, was admitted to the general district hospital on May 6 for treatment after she started having difficulty breathing. After being admitted to the ward, her covid report  came positive. On May 11, when Ruchi started experiencing labor pain, the doctors performed delivery on the pregnant woman.

While performing caesarean section on the pregnant woman, Ruchi's health suddenly deteriorated. The mother could not be saved during the operation but she gave birth to a newborn baby. The baby did not cry after birth. He was given milk through a tube. The baby was kept on ventilator. After continuous treatment he was brought to oxygen and then to the air room. After recovering on May 29, the newborn baby has been discharged from the hospital.
