India is currently dealing with a devastating second Covid-19 wave that has swept through the nation, crushing the country's health infrastructure and overburdening frontline medical workers.

India registered 3,66,161 new coronavirus cases in the last 24 hours, said the union health ministry on Monday morning. With this, the cumulative count of the cases has gone up to 2,26,62,575.As many as 3,754 people succumbed to the disease in the country in the last 24 hours, taking the cumulative death toll to 2,46,116.

Corona patients are being treated in several hospitals across the country. But in the meantime, there is a huge shortage of oxygen. Many hospitals have noticed that there is a shortage of oxygen outside their hospitals. It is also being advised to admit the patient for treatment to other hospital due to lack of oxygen.

In such a situation, a shocking incident has taken place. Oxygen-deficient covid patients have reportedly died due to lack of oxygen. There is severe shortage of oxygen in many places and deaths of patients are on the rise. Seven covid patients have lost their lives after an oxygen tanker truck that was to arrive to refill the hospital tank was delayed as the driver reportedly lost his way near Jadcherla.

Patients are said to have died due to delay in getting oxygen. According to information received, Corona patients were undergoing treatment at King Koti Hospital in Hyderabad. Seven of the patients were in critical condition. They urgently needed oxygen. However, due to low oxygen pressure, the patients died.

The hospital administration had informed that the oxygen tank at the hospital began showing low pressure starting 3 pm on Sunday. An oxygen tanker truck that was to arrive by then to refill the hospital tank was delayed as the driver reportedly lost his way near Jadcherla.

Narayanguda police also tried to show the way to the missing tanker. But it was too late for the tanker to arrive. The matter has been taken seriously by the administration. The question is why a green corridor has not been created for the tanker to arrive. An English website has reported about this.
