7 more test positive, 58 active cases in J&K

Jammu, April 1 With seven more testing positive on Wednesday, the number of COVID-19 cases in J&K has gone up to 62.

Rohit Kansal, government spokesman told a media conference in Jammu that seven more positive cases have been reported taking the number of coronavirus cases to 62 in J&K.

He said the number of active cases is only 58 since two patients had died and two have been cured.

He said 17,041 people are under surveillance in different places in J&K.

Meanwhile, 236 people under quarantine in Srinagar were allowed to go home after they completed the mandatory period without any symptoms of the dreaded virus.
