Air India offers passengers booked to travel between 22nd & 31st Dec one-time free reschedule for travel completed within 31st Dec '21

A new mutated version of the coronavirus has been recently found in the United Kingdom and other countries, CNN reported. Amid rising concerns over the discovery of a new strain of coronavirus in the UK, flight services from the UK to India have been suspended till December 31.

In view of Indian government's directive on the suspension of flights to UK, from 22nd-31st Dec, Oman & Saudi Arabia both from 22nd-29th Dec, Air India is offering passengers booked to travel during the period one-time free reschedule for travel completed within 31st Dec '21, said a the circular by Air India. 

All penalties for one-time rescheduling, cancellation, rerouting will be waived for bookings between 22nd & 31st December 2020. For further assistance in this regard please dial our customer care numbers, the statement read. 

Meanwhile, Air India has directed its crew laying at all domestic and international stations to remain isolated in their allocated rooms for the complete duration of stay in view of the new strain of coronavirus.
