Ram Mandir was opened for devotees on January 22, 2024 in Ayodhya. The unprecedented surge in the number of pilgrims and tourists paying homage to Lord Ram is setting new records daily.

In terms of yearly earnings, Ram Temple has surpassed well-known temples like the Golden Temple, Vaishno Devi, and Shirdi Sai Baba Temple to become India's third-highest revenue-generating religious shrine. Over 130 million pilgrims and visitors have come to Ayodhya since Ram Mandir was inaugurated last year. The temple's annual revenue has crossed Rs. 700 crore.

The quick development of Ayodhya is contributing significantly to the growth of the national economy as well as the economy of Uttar Pradesh. Between two and five lakh devotees and visitors arrive every day, making it difficult to provide smooth darshan and lodging. The Ram Temple is now in third place among India's top 10 religious places in terms of donations thanks to the spike in visitors.
