Bihar: A shocking incident reported in Darbhanga were youth losing his life after climbing on the top of train. He died after coming into contact with an overhead electric wire. While this incident was happening bystanders urged him to get down, however ignoring the warning he began walking along the roof of the coach while dangerously placing his hand close to the overhead electric line.
Youth dies moments after touching the high-voltage wire, the youth triggered a massive spark and explosion, collapsing on the train amidst horrified screams. The video of the incident has circulated widely online, drawing shocked reactions from social media users. While some speculated about the youth's mental state, authorities have not confirmed these claims.
Meanwhile a shocking vehicular accident at least 13 people died and 30 other injured after bus, truck and van collusion in Katihar district of Bihar. The tragedy occurred on Saturday evening on NH-31 in Kodha block of Katihar under the jurisdiction of the Korha Police Station, prompting an immediate rescue operation by local authorities and police.
Following the accident, injured have been taken to a government hospital in neighbouring Purnea district. Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar announced ₹2 lakh ex-gratia from the CM's relief fund to the families of each deceased and ₹50,000 to each injured person.
