Congress leader Motilal Vora passed away at Fortis Escort Hospital in Delhi on Monday. He was 93. Vora was detected with Covid-19 in October but recovered and got discharged on October 16. Later, he was admitted to escorts on December 19 after he complained of breathlessness.

The Congress leader was a Rajya Sabha member from Chhattisgarh till April this year. He was also the AICC general secretary (administration) before the recent party reshuffle by Congress interim-president Sonia Gandhi.

Congress leader Rahul Gandhi condoled the passing away of Vohra. "Vora ji was a true congressman and a wonderful human being," tweeted Rahul Gandhi.
