India is currently dealing with a devastating second Covid-19 wave that has swept through the nation, crushing the country's health infrastructure and overburdening frontline medical workers. The number of coronavirus cases in the country is increasing day by day.

Corona patients are being treated at several hospitals across the country. But the rapidly growing number of patients, the lack of beds and oxygen is being felt everywhere. Some hospitals have put up posters outside their hospitals saying there are no beds and no oxygen. Hospitals have also advised to move patients to other places due to lack of oxygen.

Doctors are also vulnerable to this serious situation. Meanwhile, in a heartbreaking incident, an 60-year-old woman sacrificed her own life to save a young- man by vacating his hospital bed. The incident ha taken place in Rana village in Pali, Rajasthan. The woman was on oxygen support when she sacrificed the bed for the young man who was suffering from covid and was in critical condition.

Lehar Kanwar, 60, lives in Pali village. A few days ago she contracted corona. She was admitted to the hospital with difficulty breathing. However, beds were not available at that place. After staying in the OPD's wheelchair for about four hours, Lehar found the bed. But at the same time, a young man was brought to the hospital for treatment.

The young man's condition was serious. His oxygen level had reached 43. But due to high number of patients in the hospital, beds were not available. At the same time, Lehar Kanwar and her husband told the doctor that we would wait for two more hours for the bed but give our bed to this young man and saved the young man's life. The young man is now in good health due to timely treatment.
