The number of corona patients in the country has been steadily increasing for the last few days. In the last 24 hours, 35,871 new corona patients were reported in the country. Of these, more than 23,000 patients are from Maharashtra alone. The outbreak of corona has raised concerns among the administration. Restrictions have been re-imposed in many areas. While corona infection is on the rise, vaccination drive is also being stepped up. But a serious warning from the United Nations (UN) has raised concerns

Corona can now develop into a seasonal disease, the United Nations has warned. ‘If the corona crisis persists for the next few months, then it will develop itself into a seasonal illness. It has been more than a year since the discovery of the corona virus in China. Corona vaccine was also introduced during this period. However, the prevalence of corona is still there, 'said the United Nations.

The United Nations has warned that if the corona virus becomes a seasonal disease, people will have to deal with it in the changing seasons. The 16-member team set up by the UN' World Meteorological Organization pointed out that respiratory viral infections are often seasonal, "in particular the autumn-winter peak for influenza and cold-causing coronaviruses in temperate climates."
