Coronavirus situation condition is getting worse by the day. The Supreme Court is hearing a petition over Corona's condition. Earlier in the day, the apex court had sent a notice to the Center seeking a detailed reply on the national plan.
The Supreme Court had asked to see a "national plan" on oxygen supply, essential drugs and method of vaccination and issued notice to the Centre. "We want to see the national plan on this issue," said Chief Justice of India SA Bobde.
In a subsequent hearing on Tuesday, the apex court once again slammed the Centre, asking whether it was not a national emergency-like situation and also questioned the different prices of corona vaccines.
The Center submitted the National Plan in response to the notice issued by the Supreme Court. The Advocate General argued in the Supreme Court on behalf of the Center that Prime Minister Narendra Modi himself was reviewing the situation.
The National Plan submitted by the Central Government has not yet been seen by the court. However, the Supreme Court is not at all willing to block hearings on the Corona situation in many states, believing it would be to the benefit of the states. Situations at the local level can be effectively presented in the High Court. However, as it is a national issue, the Supreme Court is considering it, the court said.
At the time of hearing on the petition, Justice. S. R. Bhatt said that the doctors of the railways come under the purview of the Centre. In this dire situation, these doctors may be assigned for quarantine, vaccination and other tasks.
