Citizens of Uttar Pradesh are likely to get good news soon. Yogi Adityanath, the Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh, has hinted that a campaign to vaccinate against corona may begin in Uttar Pradesh on Makar Sankranti this month.

Yogi Adityanath was speaking at a program in Gorakhpur district. "The Coronavirus situation in the US and the UK is very bad at the moment and under the guidance of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, India has fought hard against the virus and it has been a success," Yogi said.

A total of six districts in Uttar Pradesh are currently undergoing a dry run of vaccination and a campaign to vaccinate the people of Uttar Pradesh against corona can be started on Makar Sankranti, said Yogi Adityanath. Yogi said that the state is ensuring effective preparedness at all levels for the vaccine roll out. He also said that a cold chain was being set up to store the vaccine.
