A domestic dispute reported in Sultanpuri area of Delhi were a 35-year-old woman lying on the mattress, a scarf tied around her neck on Saturday, February 14, 2026. Woman's husband and two son 10 and 13 age were present in the house. According to Ndtv reports, boys, aged 10 and 13, told the police that their father had carried out the murder.
Around noon police received the news about fight in in Sultanpuri's P-Block. Following which they reached the spot and saw woman lying motionless and her husband, Anil (39), who appeared to be drunk was also in room with her. Woman was then immediately shifted to the hospital, but was declared dead on arrival.
While investigating boy told police that their father who work as a driver allegedly killed her. He took this step after a argument. Based on the children's report husband Anil was arrested.
In separate incident woman's body was found inside a box submerged in water tank located on an empty constructed plot. This incident occurred in Madhya Pradesh's capital Bhopal, on Thursday, February 12,2026 evening. The body was found in a locality under the jurisdiction of Nishatpura police station in the state capital on Thursday evening, prompting the police to rush to the spot and begin an investigation into the matter.
Additional Deputy Commissioner of Police Malkeet Singh told ANI that police discovered a woman's body in a tin box recovered from a tank in a Basti under the Nishatpura police station. A case has been registered, and an investigation is underway. The officer further said, "We have sent the body for a post-mortem.
