Train services between Shahdara and Dilshad Garden got delayed due to a technical snag in the Red Line on Saturday morning, August 24, Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) said. The Red Line connects Rithala in Delhi to New Bus Adda in Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh.

"Delay in services between Shahdara and Dilshad Garden. Normal service on all other lines," DMRC said in a post on X (formerly Twitter).

Delay of Metro train services in peak hours in the National Capital has frustrated travellers and officegoers on Saturday. Many have took social media to express their frustration.

"Every day red line of Delhi metro doesn't operate properly, especially at peak hours train's speed is incredibly slow yet @OfficialDMRC never intervened in this matter. This is incredibly disappointing," wrote one of the Delhi Metro commuters.
