Delhi Road Accident: Six-Year-Old Boy Killed After Being Hit by Tempo in Shalimar Bagh
A six-year-old boy was killed after being hit by a tempo near Max Hospital in Delhi’s Shalimar Bagh area, triggering outrage among local residents, reported IANS. According to the police, the incident occurred when the speeding tempo struck the child, leaving him critically injured. The driver allegedly fled the spot immediately after the accident, prompting anger among locals who gathered at the site and blocked the road, demanding strict action. Police teams rushed to the area to control the situation and restore traffic. The child’s body was sent to Babu Jagjivan Ram Hospital for post-mortem examination, and efforts are underway to trace the absconding driver.
In other updates from Delhi, bodies of three individuals were discovered inside a car parked on the Peeragarhi flyover in Delhi on Sunday, triggering an investigation by local authorities.
Police said the deceased included a man and a woman, both around 40 years old, while the third person was estimated to be nearly 60. Preliminary findings suggest poisoning as a possible cause of death, as officers found no visible signs of robbery, theft, or physical struggle at the spot.
