A woman driver fled away after an accident in a housing society in Uttar Pradesh's Ghaziabad district. According to the CCTV footage, the accident took place on Monday, February 24, at around 3.15 pm in the afternoon in SG Grand Society. The video of the incident making rounds on social media where a car ran over a child playing in society with other children.
In a viral video, it could be seen that the children were playing in the society compound when the woman ran over one of the children. The child was trapped under the tyre of a car, and a man came running from behind and pulled the child out. Later, the woman was also seen coming out of the car and running towards the boy to check his condition. However, within a few seconds, she went back inside the car and drove away from the spot.

According to the FPJ report, the accident occurred under the jurisdiction of Nandgram Police Station. It is reported that some unidentified person tore a page from a society register at the gate to save the woman. The child was swiftly rushed to the hospital and reported to be out of danger. However, he sustained serious injuries.
The locals have filed a complaint at the police station, but the police have reportedly not taken any action so far.
