Greater Noida Crime: Man Shot Dead Over Drain Waste Dispute; Accused Arrested
A small dispute over a drain waste in Greater Noida ended up in a murder of 25-year-old man by his Neighbour. The incident occurred in Greater Noida's Sakipur village, on Wednesday. Police has arrested, the main accused in connection to this case after an enconter.
According to PTI report, the crime took place on late Tuesday May 5 night, when the victim identified as Sajan Bhati, was attacked near his house. The accused allegedly opened fire on him, causing critical injuries.
Victim was immediately taken to a nearby hospital, where doctors declared him dead. Meanwhile, In Raghunathpur, a man died and a woman was critically injured after falling from a third-floor building. Initially probed as suicide or burglary, relatives now claim the pair was held captive, tortured, and forced to jump. The deceased's father alleges the landlord, suspecting an affair, lured and assaulted them.

The landlord's wife was reportedly the deceased's college friend, leading to the alleged captivity and assault. The pair jumped to escape. The landlord initially denied knowing them, but evidence contradicts this. Police are investigating call records, CCTV footage, and have detained the landlord's son and daughter-in-law.
