A wagon of a goods train derailed between Valsad and Surat stations on Friday, causing significant disruption to railway traffic but no injuries, according to Western Railway official said.
According to reports, the derailment occurred near Dungri station around 3 p.m. while the train was en route to Surat. The incident took place on the Mumbai-Ahmedabad trunk route, affecting operations on this critical railway corridor. The official confirmed there were no reports of injuries or casualties resulting from the derailment.
