A horrific case of crime has been reported in Gurugram, were a girl was allegedly locked by her boyfriend she met via dating app. Victim is a 19-year-old girl and is currently fighting for her life at at Safdarjung Hospital in Delhi. Victim was a student of biotechnology at a renowned university in Gurugram, last September, she met a young man named Shivam through a dating app.
Shivam is a resident of Narela area of Delhi and was unemployed. The conversation turned into friendship and friendship turned into love. Both of them started living in a live-in relationship in a PG in Sector-69 in Gurugram. The family knew about their love, but her mother did not know that her daughter was living with Shivam.
According to NDTV reports, on February 16, the relationship suddenly took a satanic turn. Shivam started suspecting the girl's character. The ghost of this suspicion entered his head so much that he started behaving like an executioner. He locked the girl in the house for three days. He hit her head with a steel bottle and an earthen pot. He did not stop there, but he poured sanitizer on the girl's private parts and set her on fire. While the girl was writhing in pain, the murderer was making a video of her. Not only that, shocking information has also come to light that he urinated on her inhumanly.
After three days of agony, the girl finally called her mother on February 19, screaming in Bengali, "Mother, save me! Shivam will kill me, he has burnt me!" The mother immediately alerted Tripura police, who then contacted Gurugram police. Police traced the location and, upon breaking into the flat, were shocked to find the girl writhing on the ground, partially burnt. Police immediately arrested Shivam from the spot. A video of this brutality was also found in his mobile phone, which is considered the biggest evidence. The victim girl is currently undergoing treatment in Delhi, but her condition is very critical.

A case has been registered against Shivam under various sections of the Indian Penal Code and the Gurugram police are investigating the matter further.
