Congress leader Rahul Gandhi on the occasion of Mahatma Gandhi Jayanti on Friday said that he won't bow down to anyone's injustice.

His remark came after a day he was attacked while marching to Uttar Pradesh's Hathras.

"I will not fear anyone in the world ... I will not bow down to anyone's injustice, I will win the untruth with the truth and I can bear all the sufferings while opposing the untruth," he said in a tweet, wishing people on the occasion of Gandhi Jayanti.

The Uttar Pradesh Police on Thursday filed an FIR against Congress leaders Rahul Gandhi, Priyanka Gandhi Vadra and 201 party leader for violation of prohibitory orders while walking towards Hathras to meet the Dalit rape victim's family.

On Thursday, Uttar Pradesh Police personnel pushed former Congress President Rahul Gandhi on the ground near the Yamuna Expressway and arrested him along with his sister and party General Secretary Priyanka Gandhi Vadra, while they were walking towards Hathras to meet the family of the rape victim.

A 19-year-old Dalit woman was allegedly assaulted by a group of men on September 14 while she was working in the fields with her family. The victim died in Safdarjung Hospital on Tuesday.
