A 54-year-old man got seriously injured after a collision with tempo traveller in Kerala’s KINFRA Park on National Highway 66. This accident occurred on Monday April 20, 2026 and the tempo traveller driver initially told locals that after a tyre burst, the vehicle was moved to the roadside.

A motorcycle then allegedly crashed into the rear of the stationary tempo traveller, lost control, and entered the opposite lane, where a KSRTC bus struck it, but the CCTV footage revealed different story.  CCTV footage from National Highway 66 showed a tempo traveller reversing towards the Valanchery service road when it collided with Shibu’s motorcycle approaching from behind.

According to FPJ report the impact threw Shibu onto the road, and a following KSRTC bus dragged the motorcycle a short distance.  Kuttippuram Police have filed a case against the tempo traveller driver based on the CCTV evidence. Shibu is currently receiving treatment for serious injuries at a private hospital
