A joyous wedding celebration took a tragic turn when a 25-year-old groom suffered a fatal heart attack during his baraat in Sheopur at Madhya Pradesh. The groom, son of the local gram panchayat sarpanch, was riding a horse when he suddenly collapsed, leaving family and guests in shock.

In a similar incident in Madhya Pradesh, a 23-year-old woman, Parinita Jain, collapsed and died of a heart attack while dancing at her sister’s wedding in Vidisha on February 9. A resident of Indore, Parinita had traveled to attend the celebration when the tragedy struck during the ‘haldi’ function. A video circulating on social media shows her dancing to the Bollywood song “Lehra Ke Balkha Ke” just moments before the incident. Over 200 guests were present at the venue when the shocking event unfolded.
