The authorities have created a waiting area near the Prayagraj Railway Station. The Khusro Bagh in Prayagraj is converted into a Yatri Aashram (Waiting area) that has food and shelter facilities.

With color codes, they have divided the space for people traveling to different destinations. Yellow signs give directions towards Manikpur, Chitrakoot, Virangana, Jhansi, Jabalpur, and Satna. The green signs give directions towards Kanpur, Agra, and Delhi. The blue signs lead to Mirzapur, Vindhyachal, Pandit Deen Dayal Upadhyay, Baksar, Patna, Gaya, and Howrah. The red signs lead to Raebareli, Sultanpur, Pratapgarh, Jaunpur, Shahganj, Lucknow, Varanasi, and Ayodhya.

Many people from these locations are traveling to Prayagraj to pay homage to the Maha Kumbh Mela. In the video, people are seen enjoying meals provided at the waiting areas and resting in the shelters as well.

The Maha Kumbh began on January 13 and will conclude on February 26.
