India is currently dealing with a devastating second Covid-19 wave that has swept through the nation, crushing the country's health infrastructure and overburdening frontline medical workers. Many are coming forward to help people who are struggling to find beds and medicines for their relatives. An MLA from Jaipur donated his Fortuner car worth Rs 40 lakh to health center which will be used as an ambulance.

The ambulance facility in Chanchuda assembly constituency in Guna district is very poor. Therefore, Congress leader and MLA Laxman Singh gave his car to serve the patients. On Tuesday, the MLA handed over his car worth Rs 40 lakh as an ambulance. A few days back, MLA Singh had released a video. In the video, he had said that early ambulances were not available for the patients in the villages and the patients were facing inconvenience.

He handed over his vehicle to the health department on Tuesday for patient service. Since then, the vehicle has been used as an ambulance. He also said in the video that given the opportunity to serve the citizens of the constituency, it is my duty to help as much as possible.
