Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to address the nation at 8 PM today. The prime minister's address comes a day after he had chaired a high-level meeting with the chief ministers of various states, over the lockdown in the country. Taking to Twitter, the prime minister's office said, "Shri @narendramodi will be addressing the nation at 8 PM this evening."

India is in the third phase of lockdown which will end on May 17.  India's Covid-19 count has reached 70,756. The number of deaths in the country due to the infection reached 2,293. Maharashtra, with 23,401 confirmed cases is the worst-affected due to the infection so far and is followed by Gujarat with 8,541 cases. Check out Narendra Modi's tweet here...
