The second wave of corona in the country has broken all records. 11 days ago, for the first time in the country, 1 lakh new corona case were reported. After that, 2 lakh new patients were found for the first time on Thursday. On Friday India reported 2 lakh 17 thousand 353 fresh new cases and at least 1,185 patients died.

On the one hand, the number of corona patients is increasing, on the other hand, the health system in the country seems too be collapsing due to surge in the number of cases.

The coronavirus situation in Patna, the capital of Bihar is very scary. Many corona patients are dying at Nalanda Medical College & Hospital (NMCH), the second largest hospital in Patna city.

The number of covid deaths has angered the relatives of the patients. There is literally a queue of ambulances outside the hospital. Many patients are dying in ambulances due to untimely treatment that has angered the relatives.

The situation in the hospital is so bad that Bisleri's water bottles are being pumped into patient's body due to insufficient oxygen supply. Doctors don’t even come to check on patients. The number of patients waiting outside the hospital is large due to lack of beds. Relatives of the patients have been waiting outside for hours. Due to lack of response from the hospital administration, many patients have gone back to their home.

PPE Kits used by doctors working in the hospital are being thrown out of the hospital. People are fearing that coronavirus cases will increase if the PPE kit is thrown in the open. On Tuesday, the health minister visited the NMCH hospital to review the situation. At the same time, a patient in the ambulance breathed his last. The patient had been in a coma for an hour and a half. However, he was not admitted to the hospital.
