Noida Traffic Update: Police Releases Advisory Ahead of Farmers' Protest; Check Restrictions and Alternate Routes

Huge traffic was seen in Noida on Monday morning, December 2, due to farmers' protests. Farmers are scheduled to march today under the banners of the Bhartiya Kisan Parishad (BKP), Kisan Mazdoor Morcha (KMM), and Samyukt Kisan Morcha (SKM) to wards in Delhi.

Thousands of farmers will join a rally demanding compensation and benefits promised under the new agricultural laws. The march will begin in the afternoon from the Maha Maya flyover in Noida. Security has heightened in Noida as police and RAF personnel are deployed at the Delhi-Uttar Pradesh Chilla border.

Massive Traffic Snarl at DND Flyway

"We got some advance information about some farmers' organisation who have announced a march to Delhi. They have not been permitted to enter Delhi for this protest as the Parliament session is on. We will ensure no law & order situation arises and there are no traffic disruptions. We are coordinating with Noida Police. The police force is deployed at all major and small Delhi-UP borders," East Delhi DCP Apoorva Gupta.

Traffic Congestion at Chilla Border

Noida Police issued a detailed traffic vehicular advisor to minimise disruptions. The Gautam Buddha Nagar Police have set up barricades and checkpoints at all major borders, ensuring strict monitoring of vehicles entering the city. Emergency vehicles will be given priority, and a traffic helpline at 9971009001 is available for real-time assistance.

Alternate Routes and Diversions

From Chilla Border to Greater Noida: Take the Sector 14-A flyover, proceed through Sector-15’s Golchakkar, then continue via 

Sandeep Paper Mill Chowk and Jhunjhupura Chowk.

From DND Border to Delhi: Use the Film City flyover, head to Sector-18, and take the Elevated Road for smoother access.

From Kalindi Border to Delhi: Take the Mahamaya flyover, then proceed via Sector-37.

From Greater Noida to Delhi: Use the Charkha Golchakkar and proceed via Kalindi Kunj.

Via Sector-51 (Greater Noida to Delhi): Opt for the Hajipur underpass, continuing through Kalindi Kunj.

From Yamuna Expressway: Exit at Jewar toll, head to Khurja, and continue via Jahangirpur.

From Peripheral Expressway: Avoid Sirska; use Dadri or Dasna exits instead.
