Trains travelling towards Pradip have not been impacted, ensuring minimal disruption to rail services despite the incident. Soon after the mishap, the Railway authorities have initiated restoration work to clear the affected tracks.

"Whenever there's a derailment, there are usually 2-3 possible reasons. Sometimes it’s due to track defects, sometimes due to overspeeding, sometimes there’s an issue with the wagon, or sometimes something goes wrong during operational handling. When we inspected it, we found that one of the main causes was uneven loading," said Assistant Divisional Railway Manager Shubhrajit Mandal. He said till 3 pm today the train services will be on the route after the restoration work.
