People voting fearlessly for BJP: Manoj Tiwari targets Trinamool over Bengal polls
New Delhi, April 29 BJP MP Manoj Tiwari on Wednesday launched a sharp attack on Opposition parties while commenting on the ongoing West Bengal elections, asserting that attempts to influence voters would not succeed and that people are voting fearlessly for the BJP.
Speaking to IANS, Manoj Tiwari expressed confidence of a voctory, stating, "Look, by putting tape on the BJP's symbol, you cannot stop the voters. A few reports of violence have come in, but today West Bengal is voting fearlessly, and they can try as much as they can, but they will not be able to stop the people from voting for the BJP."
Manoj Tiwari also took aim at AAP National Convenor Arvind Kejriwal, accusing him of political opportunism and inconsistency.
Referring to West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee and the expected Assembly poll results in the state, Tiwari claimed that Kejriwal was reacting out of political anxiety. "Arvind Kejriwal is afraid that Mamata Banerjee is also losing. He is trying to show Mamata that she is losing so he is in grief. People like Arvind Kejriwal will never be able to stand firm, given the way he has misled the public, misused the system, and engaged in corruption," he alleged.
Tiwari further criticised AAP Delhi President, Saurabh Bharadwaj, over his remarks concerning Rajya Sabha MP Raghav Chadha, particularly in the context of Chadha’s personal and married life. Calling the comments inappropriate, he said, "What kind of values Saurabh Bharadwaj has is reflected in his statements. Why are you making personal comments? If I say anything on this now, it will look very unpleasant for these people — so they can keep their 'values'," he remarked.
On a concluding note, the BJP MP expressed appreciation for Raghav Chadha’s political stance, stating, "Raghav Chadha has seen the country’s future in PM Modi; thanks to him and his associates."
