India's daily spike of coronavirus cases remained below the 3 lakh mark for the first time in nearly 26 days as only 2,81,386 fresh infections were recorded in the last 24 hours, according to the Union Health Ministry's data on Monday.

BJP MP Pragya Singh Thakur said that the infection in the lungs can be cured by drinking 'gaumutra' (cow urine) to defeat Covid-19. “I alo drink cow urine. That's why I don't have to take any medicine. I have not yet got infected by covid. All people should keep indigenous Indian cowss, "she said. She made the remarks while addressing a function in Bhopal on Sunday.

"Some people are talking about announcing a reward for my disappearance. Such people are committing constitutional crimes. They cannot be forgiven. It is God's job to punish criminals. I am helping people from my bungalow.

My colleagues are also working. We just did not promote the work we did. That is why they are saying that I am missing, "said Pragya Singh Thakur. Everyone should plant peepal, banyan and Tulsi. She also said that there would be no need for extra oxygen if people plant these trees. This time she announced to plant 1 crore trees in Bhopal.
