A dispute that erupted after a social event in Rajasthan’s Banswara district turned fatal, with a 28-year-old man allegedly beaten to death on Monday, April 13, 2026. The deceased has been identified as Anil, police said. According to officials, the argument broke out after the gathering and quickly escalated into a violent assault.
Two named accused have been detained in connection with the incident and are currently being questioned. Police said further investigation is underway to establish the sequence of events and motive behind the crime.
Banswara Superintendent of Police Sudhir Joshi reported that Anil was fatally assaulted after a quarrel escalated into violence during a social gathering in Kali Magri village, Khemra area, on Monday.
Meanwhile, a minor dispute over use of rope for drying clothes escalated into an alleged assault between neighbours in Delhi's sultanpuri area. As per the information received, police received PCR call at Raj Park Police Station at around 8:47 PM on April 6, 2026. In the call, a woman alleged that her neighbour had physically assaulted her and torn her clothes during clash.
Following the acceleration acting on the complaint, police initiated necessary procedures and called both parties to the station. Later, the complainant, accompanied by her sister and mother, arrived at the police station to give her statement. Simultaneously, the opposing woman and her sister arrived, and both parties presented their side of the incident.

A police investigation found a dispute between neighbors over clothesline placement escalated from a verbal argument to a physical fight. Police confirmed the dispute was personal, without religious or communal elements. Authorities assure appropriate legal action will be taken after examining the case. Both parties were sent to Sanjay Gandhi Memorial Hospital for medical examination to document injuries and ensure proper legal procedure.
