In yet another shocking case of child dying after stray dog attack reported in Rajasthan's Jhalawar, where a two-year-old girl died in the last 15 days. This tragic incident occurred on Friday early morning when the young was sleeping outside a makeshift tent alongside her father and dogs dragged her away.

Alerted by the commotion father woke up only to find that his daughter was missing he rushed to the scene, but by the time anyone could do she was mauled severely. Father immediately rushed to hospital, but doctors declared her brought dead.

A family who had recently moved to Jhalawar from Baran in search of work was living in a roadside tent, according to police. Previously, on May 4, a pack of stray dogs fatally mauled a 12-year-old girl in Alkodiya village, Bundi district. The girl had wandered into a nearby field when the attack occurred.

Earlier,  A three-year-old boy was allegedly attacked by a stray dog on Tuesday, May 5, 2026 sparking fear and outrage among local residents. A CCTV footage showed three children running on the street.

Two stray dogs emerged from behind a car, cornering three-year-old Viraj Santosh Biradar after two other children escaped. A dog then grabbed and carried Viraj away in its mouth. As the attack unfolded, a driver witnessed the scene and stopped. A man exited the car and intervened, rescuing the child approximately 30 meters away.
