In a hocking incident a son refused to perform her dead mother's funeral in village in Ranchi. Not only did he refused to perform last rites but the man also refused to see his mother's face. The incident took place at Cheve Khatanga in Kanke block of Ranchi district.

A woman from the village died of an illness and her body was brought at her home by an ambulance. But the body was lying in the ambulance for several hours.

The son of the deceased woman refused to open the door. His two sisters kept pleading him to open the door of the house and begging their brother to bury their mother's body. But the boy did not listen to anyone. He didn't even saw his mother's face.

Open the door once and see mother's face. Her corona report has also come negative. His sisters were pleading him to fulfill his mother's last wish and to light her pyre with his hands. The sister were sitting outside the door of the house crying and begging her brother to open the door. But the brother didn't pay heed. He said that he won't open the door at all.

Sanjo Devi, 55, was admitted to the hospital due to ill health. Her son suspected that his mother was infected with corona. So he didn't even go to meet his mother in hospital. Sanjo Devi passed away on Friday and her two daughters returned home with their mother's body. But the son refused to take the dead body inside home. The sisters tried hard, but to no avail. Finally, Sanjo Devi's daughters performed the last rites.
