 A man was arrested in Tamil Nadu’s Tirupattur district after allegedly showing obscene content to a minor girl who had reportedly visited him for dance training sessions.

According to reports, the incident took place in Ambur area of Tirupattur district. The accused, identified as Akbar, was taken into custody following a complaint filed by the minor girl’s parents.

Police said the girl had gone for dance training when the accused allegedly showed her inappropriate and obscene content. Based on the complaint, authorities registered a case against him under the provisions of the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act.

Following the investigation, Akbar was produced before a court and later remanded to Vellore Central Prison.Police officials stated that further investigation into the matter is currently underway.
