A tragic accident caught on camera were a speeding truck crashed into two cars waiting at a toll plazain Jhansi, Uttar Pradesh. This incident occurred Saturday, January 17, 2026 at around 2:00 pm at Semri Toll Plaza on the Kanpur Highway under the jurisdiction of Moth police station. In this accident several passengers and employee were injured.
Footage shows, two cars were waiting at toll plaza for FASTag scanner. Since the scanner was not working toll employee stepped forward to manually scan the tag on one of the vehicles. Meanwhile, a high-speed truck approached from behind and slammed into both stationary cars. The accident so sudden that toll employee had no time to move and flung him into a car's bonnet.

The truck continued moving for over 50 metres, dragging the vehicles along with the toll employee before finally coming to a stop. The impact triggered panic among other toll staff present at the site. The injured were promptly rushed to the Moth Community Health Centre. The toll employee later identified himself as Ramakant Richhariya, 56, a resident of Urai in Uttar Pradesh’s Jalaun district.
