A horrific incident of crime has came to light were man allegedly threw a 11-year-old boy in burning tandoor for taking rasgullas. This incident occurred in Uttar Pradesh Basti area on Wednesday, April 16, 2026 when a minor went with his maternal grandmother to a wedding in Malouli Gosai village.
The deceased identified as Chaman, a class 2 student, who hails from Durjanpur in Gonda district. He had been living at his maternal home in Baghanala, Basti, ever since his mother passed away. According to NDTV reports, accused catering worked fled from the spot after the incident.
Following the incident, case has been registered against an unidentified catering worker and have launched a manhunt to nab the accused. The child's relatives immediately took him to Ayodhya Medical College, where doctors provided first aid before referring him to Lucknow. Chaman was playing and enjoying the rituals when he went to the food counters and began eating rasgullas at one of the stalls.
A catering worker became angry. According to News 9, the manager initially warned the child against taking more sweets, but when he persisted, the manager suddenly threw him into the burning tandoor.
