A massive fire has broke out at the under construction theater in Sector 5, Airoli, under the jurisdiction of the Municipal Corporation. As a result of the blaze, several workers were trapped on the building's roof. Fire brigade personnel have arrived at the scene and have commenced operations to bring the fire under control.

Constructed by the Navi Mumbai Municipal Corporation, the 860-seat capacity theater is currently in its final stages of completion. The fire suddenly erupted around 1:00 PM. The blaze originated on the upper floors of the theater building. With several workers trapped on the roof, immediate efforts have been launched to rescue them and to bring the fire under control.

Fire tenders from Airoli, Koparkhairane, and Vashi have reached the site.Senior officials from the Municipal Corporation have also arrived at the scene. The exact cause of the fire remains unclear at this time.
