Gurgaon, Nov 3 India's Daksh Shokeen fired nine birdies and an eagle to sign a card of 5-under 67 that helped the local lad to grab a four-shot lead in the overall category of the Champions Links Challenge that started at began the Golden Greens Golf Club here on Tuesday.

World junior champion Raghav Chugh was placed second at 1-under 71. Ragini Navet signed off a card of 1-under 71 to lead in the women's amateur category.

Shokeen, who made a bogey on the third hole, recovered well to score four birdies on the fourth, fifth, eighth, and ninth to take the turn at 3-under. With a bogey-start on his back nine, he made two consecutive birdies on the next two holes before losing four shots one on the 13th and three on the 14th to be level par for the day. However, with a hat-trick of birdies and an eagle on the finishing hole, Daksh was able to sign off a decent card.

This is the second leg of the Northern swing of the RBG Champions Development Golf Tour and is accredited to WAGR (World Amateur Golf Rankings).
