Tokyo Olympics 2020: Players to watch out for - Vinesh Phogat

The first Indian wrestler to book a place at  Tokyo Olympics 2020, Vinesh Phogat is India's  biggest medal hopes at the showpiece event. The 26-year-old wrestler clinched her Olympic spot at the 2019 world wrestling championships in Nur-Sultan, Kazakhstan, en route to winning the bronze at the event to become the first Indian woman medallist at the world event.

Vinesh Phogat, who has got the top billing in Tokyo, has been in fine form, winning the Asian Championships gold medal earlier this year in the 53kg category. She had won her maiden world championships medal in 2019 -- a bronze in the Olympic weight category while gold medals in Asian Games and Commonwealth Games in 2018 came in the 50kg category. A lot is expected from the 26-year old and at this year's Olympics she faces her biggest test. The star wrestler has head into the Tokyo Games with confidence-boosting victories under her belt.
