Union minister Jitendra Singh announces India’s first indigenously developed Cervavac vaccine for prevention of cervical cancer

It is significant that this cervical cancer vaccine has been named 'CERVAVAC'. It was launched on Tuesday. Adar Poonawala, CEO of Pune-based Serum Institute, while giving information about the vaccine, said on Wednesday that he will launch it in the market this year.
