If you want to make the mehndi dark, let the mehndi stay on your hands for at least 6 to 8 hours or overnight. The longer the mehendi is applied, the darker its stain will be, and it will not come off easily.

Before applying mehendi, apply a little eucalyptus oil on your hands and spread it well. The amount of oil should not be too much. Oil helps to darken the color of the mehendi even more.

A mixture of lemon and sugar helps to darken the mhendi. After the mhendi dries, mix one spoon of lemon juice and one spoon of sugar. Apply this mixture on your hands with the help of cotton. This will help to get a dark color.
