A start up company prepared breast milk in science lab and said that it will be available in three years

Breast milk is considered the best for the mental and physical growth of any newborn baby. Technology, meanwhile, has progressed to the point where science laboratories are now finding ways to make breast milk for newborns.

A start-up called Biomilk has succeeded in making milk from women's breast cells. The majority of these companies are women. The company says that the milk produced in the lab contains a large amount of all the nutrients that are usually found in breast milk.

The company claims that, according to the macronutrient profile, it contains all kinds of proteins, carbohydrates, fatty acids and bioactive lipids that are found in any mother's milk. However, there is a difference in the antibodies between the two milk.

The company's co-founder and chief science officer, Dr. 'Even without antibodies, the nutritional and bioactive composition of our product is higher than any other product, and it's very similar to breast milk,' Leila Strickland told Forbes.

'The way our products support immune development, intestinal maturation, brain development,' she added. No other product can do that.

Senior cell biologist Dr. Strickland began working on breast milk alternatives after his own experience. Meanwhile, their child was born prematurely and this made it impossible for them to supply breast milk.

Then in 2013, she started making milk from breast cells in a lab. Subsequently, they started a startup in 2019 in collaboration with food scientist Michelle Eger.

The founders of the company say that their goal is not to stop breastfeeding but to provide alternatives to women through their products.
