Term life insurance of Rs 4 lakh is available on recharge of Rs 279 along with many other benefits. At the same time, life insurance of 2 lakhs is available on prepaid recharge of Rs 179.

Under the government’s scheme Jan Dhan Yojana, there is a life insurance of 30 thousand rupees and a personal accident insurance cover of two lakh rupees on the Rupay debit card available to the beneficiaries with an open bank account.
