PAN card is not only used as an identity card but it also gives information about your financial status. That is why PAN card is demanded from the bank while giving loan.

Recently, there was a news about popular actor Rajkumar Rao's pan card being misused for private loan of Rs 2,500 which was taken from a FinTech app using his PAN. And it all happened without the actor's knowledge.

You can now find out if someone has taken a loan using your PAN without your knowledge. You can check the misuse of PAN Card using the following methods.

The CIBIL score contains information on all the loans on your PAN card. Credit card and home loan information can also be found here, from mobiles taken on EMI. For this you can use online platforms like CIBIL, Equifax, Experian or CRIF High Mark.

Fintech platforms like Paisa Bazaar, Paytm also allow you to view your loan records. If you see a loan case here that you don't know about, you can take note of it.

Do not share your PAN information with anyone. When giving a photocopy of the pan, write on it for what purpose you are giving this copy. This will increase the security of your document. You can do the same with Aadhaar card.
