Coronavirus: These people should avoid travel as much as possible - Railway Ministry

Mumbai: The Ministry of Railways is operating special trains for workers across the country. However, those who take advantage of this service and whose medical, physical condition is already deteriorating are more likely to be at increased risk of heart disease.

Some unfortunate incidents of deaths of people already with various ailments have occurred during the journey.

Some of these citizens have appealed for their own safety as per the May 17 order of the Ministry of Railways and the Ministry of Home Affairs.

These include high blood pressure, diabetes, cardiovascular disease, cancer, immunodeficiency, pregnant women, children under the age of 10 and people over the age of 65.

Shivaji Sutar, Chief Public Relations Officer, Central Railway, while appealing on Friday, said that some citizens of the country want to travel by train at this time and the Indian Railway family is working day and night to provide them with train services.
