UPI payment limit on Paytm also varies hourly. According to media reports, you cannot transfer more than Rs 20,000 to Paytm in an hour. At the same time, every hour you can do maximum 5 UPI transactions through this App.

Apart from Paytm, apps like PhonePe and Google Pay are also popular among people for UPI payments. The daily transfer limit on this is Rs 1 lakh. GPay facilitates 10 transactions in a day, while on PhonePe the limit is 10 or 20 depending on the bank.

There is no hourly limit on both PhonePe and Google Pay App. But a special thing is that these apps halt if a person sends you a request of more than 2,000 rupees. A Hindi website has reported about this.
