At these petrol pumps, customers will also have access to other fuel options including electric vehicle charging stations.3 / 9In 2019, BP had bought a 49 percent stake in 1,400 petrol pumps and 31 aviation fuel (ATF) stations owned by Reliance. Reliance's existing petrol pumps have been transferred to the joint venture.4 / 9The joint venture plans to increase the number of petrol pumps to 5,500 by 2025. Reliance holds the remaining 51 percent stake in RBML.5 / 9The country's automotive fuel retail sector is dominated by public sector petroleum companies. Most of the 78,751 petrol pumps in the country are owned by public sector companies.6 / 9RBML has 1,427 outlets, while Rosneft-supported Naira Energy has 6,250 petrol pumps. Shell has 285 petrol pumps. The existing network of 1,400 petrol pumps will be rebranded as Geo-BP.7 / 9Apart from refueling and charging electric vehicles, other facilities will also be provided at this place.
