A four-to-five-year-old kid sustained serious injuries after a pack of stray dogs attacked him in Kadachiwadi, Chakan. The attack occurred while the toddler was walking down the street. CCTV footage of the incident surfaced online and has gone viral on social media.
In the footage, one dog is seen approaching and pushing the child, followed by another dog that directly attacks the toddler. As the dogs began dragging the child by his pants, local residents intervened in time to save the child from what could have been a fatal outcome.

A woman, hearing the commotion, rushed out of her house to chase the dogs away. Soon after, other citizens joined in and managed to rescue the toddler from the aggressive pack of dogs.
This incident has intensified concerns about the increasing stray dog population in Pune. There are growing calls for stricter measures to manage the stray dog issue in the city.
