Currently, locals from Katraj, Narhe, Ambegaon, Warje, and Vadgaon, as well as Mumbai-Satara and Satara-Mumbai passengers, rely on the Navale bridge, leading to congestion and frequent accidents due to the absence of a dedicated service road. The NHAI requested the land acquisition to address this issue. With the District Collector's approval and finalized land pricing and measurements, service road construction can now commence.
